Standford Online Courses
Standford University is offering completely free computer science and electronic engineering courses ranging from software methodologies to robotics from their website (see above). All lectures are avaliable in a multitude of formats. The videos are avaliable at YouTube and via other streaming formats, and pdf transcripts are avaliable.
This is a wonderful step towards open learning, and empowering those unable to attend university, for what ever reason, to have access to learning resources. At present, only ten courses are avaliable, with plans for more to come.
